The Tool


This new initiative by the IIC provides financial institutions in Latin America with an interactive environmental risk management tool, containing a variety of useful information that will help you to put your environmental policies into practice. This software also assists users in managing both risks and opportunities, and urges financial institutions to enter into solely those transactions that can be considered environmentally and socially responsible.

This project was initiated by Angela Miller, environmental engineer at the CII, who first had the idea of this interactive tool and supervised its implementation. The realization was performed by ECOFACT AG, a consulting boutique specialized in the management of environmental, social and reputational risks, mainly in the financial sector.
